Codec avchd pour vista

You did reboot the machine, after installing all that lot last night, didn't you? Otherwise, it may only have been this morning that the softwares started to use the correct codecs Hi rhubarbe, pretty sure it was rebooted in between Its a bit of a minefield - trouble is trying to do one thing at a time and seeing what happens , that with a reboot between adds hours to doing anything.

Previously, like other members, one was getting sound but no picture. I too have looked in the past at codecs from Cyberlink with no success. Please note, the picture has quite a few jaggies when displayed in half-screen size but these are virtually eliminated when one views in full screen. Not sure whether increased memory and processor power would help. Now my last wish is to be able to play the same M2TS file in slow motion. Anyone got any ideas on how to get the slow motion working?

Thanks from me too Paul! Only one thing, is anybody else getting a blocky mess that freezes quarter way through with any interlaced clips?!!!
