Now that Germany is in hard lockdown mode and the holidays are coming up I will hopefully find more time. The folks of Microsoft contacted me, asking me to officially offer the extension for Edge and offered help if needed. I've tried running the Chrome Web Store version on Edgium and it appears to get stuck renaming the files once the download completes.
