Aurora ticket download
The data that was erased from the public copy before it came into our possession further proof GBA devcarts are being rewritten with these was revealed to be leftover data of the Japanese Aurora Ticket wondercard and Japanese wonder news about the event. None of this data is usable at the moment, however leftover data in distribution software is commonly found.
One day in the future this data may amount for something to be seen or used by the public, but for now the important aspect of this being public is that the original unedited Aurora Ticket Distribution is properly preserved along with all our other unedited Pokemon Gen 3 GBA Distributions.
Professor Oak , Dec 24, AlamosIT and Deoxyz like this. I dont know if there is a need in general for the flyer, since its only in german sadly, but nevertheless its something deeply connected to the event.
Whats intresting about it is, that it is a complete step by step guide on what to do after you got your hands on the ticket. Its telling you how to activate the Mystery gift and how to recieve the ticket and how to solve the riddle on Deoxys' island. If there is need for it, I would be honored to translate it for you guys. Gigadweeb , Mar 30, What flash cart do you have? InsaneNutter , Mar 30, One of the old Supercard Mini SDs. Someone mentioned it should work fine with all flashcarts and I haven't had any issues with the couple of other distros I've tried, so I figured it would work fine.
Strange, is that the one where you have to use some software to prepare the rom for use on the Mini SD card?
Could possibly be something the software is doing if so, such as patching save types if that's an option as an example. Well, what do you know. Turns out it's been so long I forgot you had to patch ROMs for it beforehand, no matter what. Deoxyz , Dec 28, UnknownRespected likes this. You know, watching the video in the original post made me realize something. Invader TAK , Dec 29, King Impoleon and UnknownRespected like this. Indeed i was thinking that, if someone happened to own a little shop they could have a GameCube in the back and have it distributing the event for people all year around.
You'd probably never get that many people playing such an old Pokemon game locally though unless you ran some sort of gaming event.

There was a room in school where we used to hang out during breaks and play games on handhelds, and the last day of school before Christmas break was usually a free day where we could do whatever we want so we figured there would be a bunch of people there who may be interested.
We talked with the guy who was in charge of the place and he thought it sounded like a pretty cool idea, we made a sign that advertised it and placed it at the entrance so that people coming in could know.
In the end, we never got anyone. Kind of a shame because it would have been fun. A setup like this at a video game store would probably need to have a spare Wireless Adapter available for people to use though, since I don't think very many people even have Wireless Adapters. But if the store deals with used games including games for a lot of older systems, there's bound to be people coming in who would see the sign advertising it and be interested in at least coming back another time for it.
UnknownRespected , Dec 30, Indeed i guess many people probably won't have a Wireless GBA adapter, however with the DS games that could easily be done.
Certainly for a small independent store its a good way to get people in and help new players out who might be playing for the first time, given its impossible to trade online using the DS now. InsaneNutter , Dec 30, Well it could still be done for the Aurora Ticket, just the store owners would need to keep a spare Wireless Adapter available and people can ask to use it so they can get the distribution.
One would have to hope that they'd be able to generate enough advertising for it though. But even if they just had a sign in the window or something, this could bring people into the store who otherwise wouldn't have visited, and people entering a store for freebies sometimes end up sticking around and actually buying something so that could even earn them extra revenue even if it wasn't much Heh too bad I don't own a store like that.
I'd totally do that. UnknownRespected , Dec 31, Joined: Mar 11, Messages: Likes Received: HaxAras , Jan 2, InsaneNutter , Jan 2, UnknownRespected and HaxAras like this.
