How to play mpg files on ps3

I was able to play them on my PS3 without issue until just recently. After muxing, I attempt to play the file in PS3 and it will not play. There is no time on the file when I play it. It shows all zeros 0' and will not play.

I've also used mkvmerge set compression to none on the mkv file first and tried to converg with mkv2vob after. I'm still having the same issue. Just wondering if there is a quick fix for this.
